Family of Silver Oak
The Duncan family of Silver Oak established Twomey in 1999 to farm and vinify new grape varietals hailing from the most expressive vineyards, wherever that path may lead. The Twomey of today is a result of decades obsessing on wines of place, featuring Pinot Noir as the most lucid translator from soil and sunshine into wine.
Twomey was established in 1999 by brothers David, Tim, Mike and Kevin. Tim and David (L to R) serve as proprietors, overseeing daily operations at the winery.
Named after Velma Twomey Duncan, mother of Silver Oak co-founder Ray Duncan, Twomey embraces many of the same core principles as Silver Oak: quality, sustainable farming, innovation—but above all, a deep commitment to continuous improvement at every level.
