Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Our first Pinot Noir, the Twomey Russian River Valley Pinot, was crafted to showcase the deep and bold flavors only found in the Russian River Valley AVA.
Originally sourced from the Westpin Vineyard, our first vintages—2002, 2003 and 2004—were produced from two acres of Martini clone—the only acres that were not replanted after we entered our long-term lease in 2000. The inaugural 2002 vintage was also made at the Silver Oak Napa Valley Winery in Oakville.
Fun fact: The inaugural 2002 vintage was made at the Silver Oak Napa Valley Winery in Oakville, and current Chairman & CEO David R. Duncan and former Silver Oak Winemaker Daniel Barron did the punchdowns.
